Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
inspanidual to join our team as a Nonprofit Workforce Development Intern. This
position is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the complexities of
workforce development and to gain valuable skills in program development and
grant research.
The Nonprofit Workforce Development Intern will assist
in developing, coordinating, and executing workforce development projects and
activities. They will be responsible for researching grant opportunities and
writing grant applications, conducting literature reviews, and helping to
coordinate events and meetings. The Intern will also be responsible for helping
to develop and track budgets, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and
developing and executing project plans.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest
in workforce development and related topics, excellent written and verbal
communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve. They should be
self-motivated, organized, and have the ability to work independently. Previous
experience with grant writing and/or nonprofit organizations is preferred,
though not required.
This position is part-time and will provide flexible
